Well....alot has happened here in Singapore.
I started out working as an Art Director for an exhibit company. It was a great learning experience.
Now I'm working for a company who specializes in Rockwork. I do have some experience in rockwork but this opportunity has been an incredible experience, which makes me want to be doing this type of work for a very long time.
We are building a very large mountain made almost entirely of GFRC- glass fiber reinforced concrete.
Besides Art Directing I have also been a site supervisor and foreman. working mostly with Bangledeshian and Indian workers.
I've had alot of on-hands experience: doing seaming and concrete rockwork, even doing some welding and driving the forklift.
I've also been working on additional models and mock-ups
I have started working on some new paintings. Mostly using Modern Masters metallics, http://www.modernmastersinc.com/ I will update pics to my gallery soon.
I have been taking a class at Xenomorph model-kit shop, working on handpainted models. There website is http://www.garage-kits.com/ they do some really amazing stuff.
Next month I will be taking a class on modelmaking and tree design @ the Workshop thetreewizard.sg
I started another blog about my travels and experience here in Asia and Singapore.
