New to this

my first blog,
I'm a struggling artist but I have been very lucky to do the type of work I have done so far and the places I have gone. I'm a scenic artist but I'm trying to get back to my roots as a fine artist too. I have worked on probably about 500-600 projects, everything from conventions to theme parks to band backdrops, movies & music videos and a whole crapload of residentials and business's. I have used about every type of paint and method and painted on about every kind of substrate. I have sculpted and done modelmaking. I have been specialized in UV painting.

I grew up in Buffalo,NY went to school at New Paltz SUNY and have lived in New York(brooklyn), Florence Italy, Northern Cali, Los ANgeles, Wilmington NC, Orlando fl, back to L.A now back to Florida. I have travelled the country and parts of the world to do what I do. I have been a lead scenic artist on several projects.

As a fine artist I have done about a dozen shows, alot of those outdoor shows as well. but since I have been doing so much work as a commercial artist its been hard to tear off and really do some soul-searching artwork.
